Just a few miles away is Claife Heights, a stunning vantage point above Lake Windermere, which has a purpose-built viewing station. Five miles to the west of the property is Coniston Water, which, with its boating centre, is the perfect place for those who want to hire boats, try stand-up paddle boarding, or give windsurfing a go. With so much on offer, your holiday can be as relaxing or as adventurous as you wish.

This cottage offers ground-floor accommodation for two people and makes a lovely place for a couple’s getaway. The door leads into the compact kitchen with electric cooker, washing machine ,microwave and fridge. The pretty lounge has an open fire as a welcoming focal point, comfortable seating, a window-side dining table for two, TV, DVD, and CD. Guests will also find a selection of books, board games, and DVDs for their enjoyment. The tastefully decorated bedroom has a double bed and bedside tables. There is a shower room with WC.

Outside, to the rear of the property, is a shared garden with a lawn and patio with seating and a chimenea which keeps the chill off on spring and autumn evenings. To the rear of the garden there is off-road parking available for one car.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
