Historic Gear Farm of "Time Team" fame is near the beautiful Helford River and is in a designated "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" We have been welcoming guests to our organic arable farm for many years and hope that this year you will join us and have a holiday to remember.

Local Information
Gear Farm is an ideal base from which to explore the picturesque Helford River and Lizard Peninsula. There are National Trust walks nearby such as to Tremayne Quay or to Frenchman's Creek (of Daphne du Maurier fame) and the stunning coastal path is within easy reach.
Boats can be hired at Helford and St Anthony (4 miles) and there is scope for most water sports including canoeing, surfing and sailing within a few miles. Local attractions include Flambards Theme Park, The National Seal Sanctuary, Paradise Park, St Michael's Mount or if you want to explore the county further, the famous Eden Project is an hour away.
