Come and stay with us in the heart of the beautiful green East Devon countryside.
Just one mile from the unspoilt coastal village of Branscombe, and England's first World Heritage Site, the famous Jurassic Coast.
Coombe View Farm offers basic camping, where it is possible to cast off the modern world, go back in time and immerse yourself in a simple, stress-free life! However, we provide free WiFi which covers most of the campsite if you can't bear to be cut off!
Our campsite welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes, camper vans, and tents.
We also have two mobile homes available to rent!!
Coombe View Farm is a working farm, so there are plenty of animals around
to make friends with.
We have a herd of native ponies known as the "Sweetcombe Exmoor Ponies"
who have their own Facebook page, so why not look them up!
During the spring we sometimes have foals, which are hugely entertaining, and
last year some of our guests were lucky enough to see one being born.
We also have some larger horses, pigs, goats, a wide variety of poultry including some rare breeds, a flock of sheep, and Purdy the cat. Lambing starts in March, always a delightful time for our early visitors. Free range eggs are available to buy on site, and occasionally birds are also available to buy.
Coombe View Farm Camp and Caravan Site has it's own Facebook page, where we post daily weather forecasts, and local events as well as camping news or ideas we think you might like. We love seeing your photos and sharing in your adventures, so please feel free to upload your own stories to our page.
If you want a peaceful, basic campsite, this is the place to come. We offer traditional camping at its best; open fires, plenty of space, star gazing & memory making.

The pretty village of Branscombe is spread out along the valley, and includes such attractions as the Old Forge, The Old Bakery, Water Mill and the Church.
Attractive and comfortable pubs at either end of the village provide good ale and food, which can provide a welcome rest during one of the many lovely country walks from or to Branscombe, including the coastal footpath to Beer or Sidmouth via Salcombe Regis with breath taking views over the sea and countryside.
Branscombe beach is part of the
Jurassic Coast, England's first World
Heritage Site.Rock pools at low tide and the chance of finding a fossil make this a great spot for a day of adventuring and discovery with children.
Car parking is available right next to the beach making this easily accessible for those with young children or those less inclined to walk!A beach side café provides snacks and beach paraphernalia.
A very attractive fishing village with a stream running alongside the main street with little bridges...irrestible to any child! Buy locally caught fresh fish or try your hand on a fishing trip!
Excellent pubs, little shops selling beach goods and memorabilia, and a very good fish & chip shop.
Local attractions include Beer Quarry Caves and Pecorama.
