The stable door leads from the little lane directly into the kitchen where there is a settle and plenty of space for walking gear and muddy boots, the kitchen has shaker units and slate floor and is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Next door to the kitchen is the large dining room, perfect for those romantic meals together. Stairs lead up to the first floor where you will find the lounge with and open fire set in a traditional slate hearth as a wonderful, welcoming focal point, there are also two deep leather sofas to relax on and a TV to enjoy a movie after a day’s walking. This room is dual aspect and has lovely views across the village to the hills beyond. Off the lounge there is a romantic double bedroom with oak furniture and completing the accommodation is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Another stable door leads from the lounge out into a pretty, south facing garden, offering a patio and lawn area cleverly built into the slope of the hillside. There is off-road parking for one average car adjacent to the cottage.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
