White Lodge Property Description

White Lodge is set amid the spectacular domain of the red squirrals and deer:- GRIZEDALE FORREST. Probably one of The Lake District's most popular tourist attractions, Grizedale Forrest is just 3 miles from Hawkshead village and all its amenities. The forrest is haven for wildlife and is ideal for a range of activities from mountain biking to exploring a network of forrest trails. The Grizedale Forrest visitors centre is close by and popular attractions such as the Haverthwaite Railway, The Aquarium of the Lakes and South Lakeland Wildlife Park are just a short drive away.

The accommodation consists of


There are 6 good sized bedrooms, 3 x doubles and 2 x singles,all with wonderful views the magnificent garden which surrounds the house. The main bathroom with bath, wc and basin is situated upstairs.

Downstairs the 2 lounges, Kitchen and separate dining room offers ample space for any family activities.The lounges are spacious and idividually furnished, one offers guests the use of a piano and guitar for musical evenings.

Both lounges have open fires. There is a selection of storage heaters and plug in heaters in the other rooms.

WHITE LODGE is a TV free zone, with this in mind the owners have provided a great selection of books and games for your entertainment. The dining room with large dining table is the perfect setting for family meals. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, large larder fridge and ample storage space.There is a separate utility room with washing machine, dryer and downstairs wc and showeroom. Sorry no dogs or smoking in the house.

Families with small children should be aware that there is a waterfall and stream running close to the house.
