Weaver's Loft Property Description

This two bedroom property forms one end of a 17th Century farmhouse and is originally believed to have been a weavers gallery and workshop. Field Head is set on a hill overlooking the Esthwaite Valley and close to the famous Tarn Hows, surrounded by beautiful, rural scenery. Beams and stove effect fire make this is a comfortable home from home. We are sure guests will enjoy the tranquility, wonderful views, private garden and landscaped grounds of this lovely hideaway.
In a secluded position down a quiet country lane - yet just under two miles from the historic village of Hawkshead and four miles from Ambleside and Coniston for shopping and eating out.
This is an ideal base for those wanting to explore this beautiful
landscape so loved by Beatrix Potter. For walkers there is a wide variety of routes from lovely, low level walks or more challenging mountain walking within easy access.

THE ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES OF:

The door leads to a large entrance hall with
plenty of space for hanging coats and walking gear. There is a musical organ in this room reflecting the owners passion for the instruments.

A second internal door leads to the main accommodation and a single and double bedroom, both of which are fresh and simply furnished.

There is a large living / dining room with traditional beams and views onto the garden. The electric stove effect fire is a cosy focal point for this room, and there is a colour TV and video. Off the lounge is the newly fitted kitchen, well designed to maximize the space and fitted with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine.

The bathroom is also off the lounge and has bath with hand held shower, w.c. and basin. Night storage heating and convector heaters provide warmth when required.

Outside there is a pretty private garden with garden
furniture and lovely views across the rolling countryside.
