Gooseyfoot Studio Property Description

Self catering apartment in Hawkshead, Cumbria. Situated just 2 miles west of Lake Windermere in the Lake District, Cumbria.

Gooseyfoot self catering apartment is a charming studio apartment for two right in the centre of Hawkshead. It is on the first floor with views onto the village square. The apartment is decorated and furnished with real flair and offers a high degree of comfort, ideal for any time of year.

Gooseyfoot self catering apartment is close to Hawkshead village shops and with plenty of places to eat in the evenings... there is no need to use the car - just
relax and enjoy this lovely village.

Outside steps lead to the first floor stable door entrance which opens into
the recently fitted Kitchen/dining room with electric cooker, fridge, microwave
and deep-set windows which look out to the side of the property. There is
also hanging space for walking gear etc.

The door leads to the main studio room which has a double bed and a living room area with comfy seating and colour t.v. The room is decorated and furnished in colonial style with coordinated colours.

The bathroom has a bath with handheld shower attachment, basin and wc.
There are fitted carpets throughout and heating is by night storage heaters
making it ideal for use all year round.

Gooseyfoot Studio Local Information

Hawkshead is one of the prettiest villages in England and the Lake district. A wonderful mixture of the historic and picturesque, its whitewashed houses, narrow street and cobbled alleyways are overlooked by a charming 15th Century church and have remained largely unaltered for the past 300 years.

Hawkshead is ideal for a holiday at any time of the year. The area, much loved by Beatrix Potter, abounds in delightful scenery with walks to suit all abilities. Grizedale Forest is close by where you will find the famous forest sculpture trails, and mountain biking tracks.

An ideal base for exploring the Lake District and surrounding area
