Old Railway Self Catering Cottage in Crediton is located in the peaceful Mid Devon hamlet of Penstone, about 5 miles North West of the market town of Crediton, Close to The City of Exeter yet still in the heart of the countryside, well situated for the moors, coast and many tourist attractions through out the South West, including, heritage railways, Eggsesford Forest, part of the Tarka Trail, and the many other Devon Tourist attractions

Old Railway Self Catering Cottage in Crediton is in the hamlet of Penstone which is located in the heart of the Mid Devon countryside. It is wonderfully peaceful, yet ideally situated for visiting all parts of Devon and beyond.

The Kitchen: This is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. We have also tried to think of the small details which are so important when one is away from home. There will be milk in the fridge and a loaf of locally baked bread. Also there will be a complimentary bottle of wine to help guests unwind after their journey

The Sitting Room and Dining area: This is tastefully furnished enabling guests to relax or enjoy a meal. There is a TV, DVD player and a growing collection of DVDs. Books and information on the local area are also provided, a cosy log burner and electric storage heaters provide heat in the colder months, additional electric heaters are available throughout the year. Heating and electricity is included in the price.

Upstairs : there are three bedrooms and a toilet/shower room. Towels and linen are provided and electric blankets are available when needed.

Outside: there is a small courtyard and a carport to the side of the cottage, guests also have the use of a delightful nearby community area known as "The Glade".

It is very comfortable and well equipped Holiday Cottage, "A real home from home"
