Stoney Croft is a cosy comfortable cottage retaining plenty of character is situated in the centre of Near Sawrey. The hamlet is famous for Beatrix Potter's home. which is only a short walk away as is the village pub which serves food lunchtime and evenings.

The cottage is on a quiet lane that leads up to Claife Heights and surrounding hills. The rolling countryside and lakes around Sawrey with the high mountains as a back drop make this an ideal base for those wanting to walk, cycle.or enjoy exploring the nearby picturesque villages such as Hawkshead.

The owners have added lots of touches such as games and videos to make this feel like a real home from home.

THE ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES OF

Downstairs the living room with open fireplace and two comfy sofa's makes this room cosy and welcoming. It has TV, video and stereo.

The separate dining room has a table for 4 people and a payphone.

The Kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Upstairs there are fitted carpets throught and the heating is by night storage heaters. There are two pretty double bedrooms with pine furniture.

The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower, basin and wc.

Outside there is a small sun patio with table and chairs. also there is a secure bike storage and wood store.
