Angel Cottage Self Catering Cottage Ambleside Lake District Property Description

This lovely cottage on the edge of Hawkshead is owned and maintained by a local family, this cottage is a perfect ground floor, cosy retreat for couples who want to be able to leave the car on the drive and walk from the doorstep either to the hills or the village.

Hawkshead, itself described as one of the prettiest villages in the Lake District provides an excellent base for those wanting to explore the mountains and lakes or simply wander around the flower-filled lanes and cobbled yards or enjoy a pint and a meal in one of the local pubs.

The Lounge - This pretty room has a comfortable armchair and sofa the open fire, dining table and chairs, T.V, video, a selection of videos and board games, Stereo and CD player.

The kitchen is compact but very well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, toastie maker, coffee maker/cafetiere and a view of the garden. The washing machine is in an outside utility room.

The bedroom is very pretty with a blue and white theme, double bed and pine furniture.

Bathroom-with electric shower, W.C and basin .

The cottage is heated throughout by gas central heating.

Outside-There is a shared garden and patio to the rear of the cottage with its own garden chairs and picnic table - an ideal place to eat al fresco or to simply unwind at the end of the day.
