Beck Cottage Self Catering Cottage Ambleside Lake District Property Description

Beck Cottage is a lovely 3 bedroomed property in a great rural location at Force Forge on the edge of Grizedale forest. With large gardens going down to the beck and patio area it is the perfect hideaway.

THE ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES OF

The entrance hall has plenty of space for boots and coats and a desk with telephone. There is a large family room - at one end there is a well equipped, spacious kitchen (electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, breadmaker and microwave) a large pine table and chairs. The woodburning stove is the focus point of the lounge area with comfortable settee and armchairs. The windows which dominate one wall of this room make it light and airy and offer great views across the garden.

The second cosy lounge/snug has TV, video, stereo and karaoke machine! This room also has a large wood burning stove.

Downstairs there is also a shower room with electric shower, basin and wc and a utility room with washing machine.

Upstairs there are 3 very pretty bedrooms with antique pine furniture and window seats. There are 2 doubles and 1 twin. There is also a family bathroom with bath, basin and wc.

Outside there is a pretty lawned garden which goes down to the beck ( children will need to be supervised) and a large patio - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of this beautiful location.
