Home Farm Cottage Property Description

This traditional turn of the century farm cottage is nestled in the heart of Grizedale Forest with open views all round across the forest, Grizedale Valley and rolling farmland. A wonderful location for families or friends who enjoy the countryside, wildlife, outdoor pursuits, exploring the sculpture trail and walking on quiet paths or go over the hill to the high mountains beyond. There is a fantastic choice of cycle tracks from the door, and also bike hire or try Go Ape for high wire tree top adventure.

To explore, its a short drive to Hawkshead and the rest of Lakeland, with a choice of shops and places to eat and drink. Or try the Eagles Head, less than a mile away at Satterthwaite.

Centrally heated and homely, this charming family cottage makes ideal accommodation all year round. The comfortable good-sized lounge has TV,video, radio, CD/tape player and electric effect wood burning stove. The large kitchen is well-equipped with electric cooker,fridge freezer, washer dryer, microwave, pantry and a large family dining table.

The bedrooms consist of one pretty double room, One twin room and a single with resident teddy bear.
The bathroom has toilet, washbasin and bath. Outside there is large front garden for children to play safely. There is a rear paved yard ideal for barbecues with picnic table and chairs, and a shed for storing bicycles.
