Bettys Mews Self Catering Cottage Ambleside Lake District Property Description

A lovely cottage set on the edge of the picturesque village of Hawkshead, famed for it's old world houses and ancient yards filled with flowers in the summer months. King's Yard is a group of traditionally styled cottage combining modern conveniences with charm. it is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of the Lake district.

For those interested in fell walking, there is easy access to the rolling countryside so loved by Beatrix Potter and the mountains are only an half hour drive away.

There are lots of Inns and restaurants in and around Hawkshead Village and a well stocked village Co-op, a chemist and the post office are all within a short walk from Betty's Mews.

The cottage is a ground floor two bedroom property with all the comforts of home. It is cosy and decorated to create a welcoming cottage atmosphere.

The accommodation consists of:

Lounge with matching curtains and upholstery, comfortable seating for 4 people, TV, video, electric coal effect fire, dining table and chairs.

Kitchen ;- well equipped with microwave, full size electric cooker, 'fridge/freezer, washer/dryer.

2 Bedrooms 1 double, 1 twin, each with views onto the sunny patio.

Bathroom with full size bath and electric shower, WC, basin, heated towel rail. In addition there are two handy storage / airing cupboards in the hallway.

Outside is a sunny patio to the side of the cottage it has garden chairs and a picnic table - an ideal to eat al Fresco or to simply unwind at the end of the day.
