Strathallan Guest House Helston Cornwall a Guest House in Helston Cornwall is located in the beautiful Cornish Town of Helston which is the original "Quaint old Cornish Town", home of the Furry Dance held each year on May 8th - FLORA DAY- and is still a busy country community, with its narrow bustling streets and old-world charm.
It is ideally situated for touring and exploring the whole of West Cornwall, whilst the enchanting Isles of Scilly are within easy reach by Helicopter or Steamer out of Penzance.

We are proud that each year we have consistently achieved the English Tourism Council "THREE CROWN" grading and, under the new harmonised scheme awarded "FOUR DIAMONDS", for our superior standards of service and accommodation, the only local guest house to achieve this status.

Strathallan has been tastefully and sympathetically modernised to cater for today's discerning visitor and there is on-site parking for our guests' use and our seven guest bedrooms are particularly well appointed.

Although Strathallan is situated in the heart of this lovely old town, it is nevertheless quiet and peaceful. There is a secluded garden in which you may wish to relax, and the beautiful Penrose walks with boating lake and skateboard park are just a step away. The National Trust woodland walks in the Penrose Valley are the finest in the West Country and these well marked trails take you around Loe Pool, Cornwall's largest freshwater lake and to the sandbar which separates the Pool from the Atlantic Ocean.
