The Pen Mill Hotel, Yeovil, Somerset, is situated on the A30 as you head out of Yeovil, on the Somerset and Dorset border.

Literally just across the road is Wyndham hill, topped with 200 year old trees (5 of our 8 rooms have perfectly clear views of this), from the top of the hill you can see the whole of Yeovil, along with acres upon acres of Somerset and Dorset countryside.

Alternatively you could choose a more genteel walk around the side of the hill and along the river Yeo, this also looks over the golf course (9 and 18 hole courses along with flood-lit driving range, pay and play at most times). This will lead you to Yeovil's new leisure complex (5-10 minutes walk) with ten pin bowling alley, multi-screen cinema and gym. Another 5 minutes walking will bring you to the Dry Ski Centre with a choice of runs for skiing or rubber rings!!!

This is right next to ‘Nine Springs' Yeovil's beautiful country park area with natural flowing springs and leaf canopies. At the bottom of this is Yeovil's main swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym.

All of this is within a maximum of 20-25 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car from the Pen Mill Hotel.

Massive Car Park - The Pen Mill is one of the few hotels in Yeovil with a large free of charge car park suitable for motorbikes, cars, vans, lorries and coaches of all sizes.

This may also be suitable for the start or finish point for car or bike rallies etc. (only by prior appointment).
