All are warmly welcomed at Shrewley Pools Farm Bed And Breakfast In Warwick, this mellow old farmhouse, which is surrounded by a particularly attractive garden, which has regularly appeared in magazines and on TV, has bantam chickens roaming free and also with in the grounds are sheep, geese, turkeys, and Saddleback pigs, which may be spotted by the large lake as you approach the house.

The fabulous 1 acre gardens that surround the house are open to the public twice a year.

Built in 1640, the brick and timbered farmhouse, with listed barn, stands at the heart of a traditional mixed working farm.
Inside there are beams, low doorways, sloping corridors and an original quarry tiled hall with an inglenook fireplace, thought to have been built at the time of the Civil War.

Chintz sofas and armchairs are drawn round the hearth in the peaceful sitting room and up a steep wooden staircase is an airy family room (spacious enough for four), which is equipped with such extras as an iron, shoe cleaning kit and even a spare dressing gown.

Swim Facts - 35 pegs, Heavily stocked 3.5 acre lake set in picturesque Warwickshire countryside in the village of Haseley, Tremendous head of carp to 18lb, mirrors, commons and ghost, with a few surprises! Also occasional Tench to 3lb.

How to catch - Most successful method is pole fishing at 4m. Maggots, casters, sweetcorn and pellets all very successful. Size 14 barbles hooks. Size 10 elastic.

What's Banned - Barbed hooks banned at all times. Keep nets banned, except during matches.
