This very pretty cottage in the heart of Hawkshead is a lovely traditional cosy home tucked away in a pretty little courtyard. Brown Cow is ideal for those who want the convenience of all the village amenities within walking distance. It has traditional beams and loads of character combined with a high level of comfort.

The little porch leads to the pretty lounge with electric wood burning stove fire, 2 comfortable settees a selection of DVDS and board games, TV, DVD player, pine dining table and chairs. The pretty kitchen is compact and well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine

The cottage stairs (rather narrow and steep) lead to the lovely bathroom with roll top bath and with over the bath large shower. wc and toilet. There is a spacious, light and airy double bedroom with pine furniture and TV. The second smaller, twin bedroom is accessed through this bedroom - ideal for families.

The cottage is heated by gas central heating. Outside there is a pretty patio area with a slate table and benches. This courtyard also provides access to neighbouring cottages but is secluded from the road by large woodern gates.

There is parking for 1 car in nearby carpark with permit.
