The Black Swan Guest House was totally refurbished in the mid 1990s using many of the original materials, and the house and stable block now provide very comfortable guest accommodation in Gainsborough.

Should you decide to dine out at a local restaurant in or near Gainsborough, the Guest House are happy to offer a "fetch and carry" service to allow you to enjoy a drink with your meal. However we do hold a drinks licence ourselves so we are able to offer a wide range of drinks and you are more than welcome to use the Guest House cosy downstairs lounge.

As members of Tastes of Lincolnshire the Black Swan Guest House breakfasts are served fresh to order using locally sourced bacon, sausages and free range organic eggs in the comfortable dining room. Most dietary requirements can be catered for, but prior notice is appreciated. Early breakfasts can be accommodated as we serve from 7am most mornings.

Resident Guest House proprietors Judy and John Patrick have a warm welcome for all their guests at the Black Swan Gainsborough, which stands on the A156 at the junction with the A1500.
