Royal Breakwater Hotel in Portland Dorset has 19 rooms, some en-suite, offering singles, doubles, twins & small bunk rooms. All have Colour TV's and tea & coffee making facilities. There are two Hotel bars open to the public serving food all day and evening. Breakfast is available from 7:00 am for residents and non-residents.

There is ample parking right outside the hotel in Portland. The sea is just 100 feet from the building, making it an ideal base for anyone using the sea - divers... windsurfers... sailors... anglers - they all find us the perfect place to stay. Castletown beach, and its free slipway, are just 100 feet away.

We're also conveniently placed for anyone visiting Portland Port and HMPS Weare, England's only Prison ship. Portland Castle, one of Henry VIII's finest Coastal fortresses, is virtually on our doorstep and all the attractions of Dorset.

The lounge bar - Quieter and ideal for informal meetings.

Both serve well kept beers, large portions of homebaked food and have a warm and freindly atmosphere, skittles is a very popular game in Portland and Weymouth with an active inter-pub league. If you've never played it before why not have a go.

The function room - Ideal for Xmas or birthday parties, meals, weddings or exhibitions, we can offer a sit down meal for up to 50 people
