In and around the village, you can ramble along riverside walks, traverse airy ridges with stunning vistas in all directions or relax in one of the local tea shops or country pub restaurants.

On the coastline there are miles of magnificent beaches sand dunes towering cliffs and pretty coastal villages such as Alnmouth Craster Beadnell and Seahouses. The whole area is a vast tract of natural beauty still largely undiscovered.

Further afield the Scottish Border Country and Hadrians Wall are both less than an hour away by car whilst even Edinburgh takes only just over an hour and a half.
