Jeffreyston Grange Property Description
If that sounds a bit ambitious, perhaps you should give us a try. The house was formerly a farmhouse, dating back to the late 1700s and was a working farm until the mid 1900s. The accommodation has been extended to provide comfortable, spacious bedrooms, each with en-suite bath or shower room. Each room has a colour television, (some with ceefax), radio and refreshment tray. Our hearty Pembrokeshire breakfast will set you up for the day, but we do also offer facilities for you to choose and prepare your own packed lunch should you wish to do so.
Even if you suffer from a disability, you can still enjoy a holiday at Jeffreyston Grange. We have adapted one of our ground floor rooms to provide a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, fully accessible to a guest in a wheelchair, but also an attraction for those who just find stairs a bit difficult.
You could not fail to enjoy a visit to Pembrokeshire, and the memories of the wonderful scenery and friendly welcome will stay with you always. And if you don''t believe that, come and see for yourself.
Jeffreyston is a peaceful village in the heart of rural South Pembrokeshire, just a few miles from the coastal resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, and within easy reach of several other splendid beaches.
Enjoy the chance to explore the numerous castles, the coastal path, the Landsker Borderlands Trail, and the little-known and very beautiful reaches of the Daugleddau.... Pembrokeshire''s "secret waterway". Walk the Miners Trail and gain an insight into South Pembrokeshire''s industrial past. When (occasionally!!) it does rain, make your choice of undercover activities from museums, theatre, the local woodcarver, an abundance of cafes and a wealth of interesting small shops, or simply give yourself a day off and let the quiet comfort of our home wrap itself around you.
Famous sites to explore, just a short drive away, are:-
Pembroke Castle, birthplace of Henry V11.
Dylan Thomas''s Boathouse at Laugharne.
The Preseli Hills, source of the Stonehenge Bluestones.
Britain''s smallest city of St. Davids with its magnificent Cathedral.
Further afield, you might decide to visit one of the offshore islands: Skomer, Caldey or Ramsey. Those who enjoy burning the candle at both ends have the opportunity of making a day trip to Ireland.... early breakfast or late supper if you decide to do so!!
